An event titled “Energy Security Meeting: Technical Reliability in Gas Supply,” dedicated to safety and technical reliability in gas supply systems, was held with the joint organization of the Ministry of Emergency Situations, “Azerigaz” Production Union, and the Azerbaijan Industrial Safety Association (AISA).
According to the information provided to elchi by the Ministry, the main purpose of the event was to systematically strengthen security in the energy sector, increase technical reliability in gas supply infrastructure, manage potential risks comprehensively, and form a professional dialogue environment in the field.
At the event, current topics such as safety risks in gas networks, technical operation and preventive maintenance measures, integration of HSE (Health, Safety, and Environment) principles into industrial activities, as well as strengthening cooperation between government agencies and the private industrial sector were evaluated by experts based on practical experiences and real examples.
Nearly 50 participants, including representatives of relevant government agencies, heads of industrial enterprises, and specialists in the field, took part in the event.
The participants pointed out that the application of a safety culture from the early stages in the new industrial environment forming in the region is of great importance.
