At least 7 Palestinians were killed today as a result of Israeli airstrikes on the Gaza Strip.
elchi reports, citing “Al Jazeera”, that representatives of the enclave’s health authorities announced this.
According to their information, as a result of an Israeli airstrike on a residential building in Gaza City, 1 woman was killed, her husband and several others were injured. The Israeli Defense Forces claim that the target of the strike was a Hamas militant planning attacks on soldiers.
It was noted that as a result of another Israeli airstrike in the Tel al-Hawa district of Gaza City, at least 4 people were killed and 14 were injured. Local journalist Mohammed Al-Najjar was killed and several people were injured as a result of a strike near a mosque in Khan Yunis, in the south of the enclave.
Later, 1 person was killed as a result of an Israeli airstrike near the city of Qarara in the southern Gaza Strip. Thus, the number of those killed during the day reached at least 7 people.
According to the latest data from the Gaza Ministry of Health, at least 1,400 people have been killed since the ceasefire was declared. Israel, on the other hand, reports the deaths of 4 of its soldiers.
Palestinian authorities have stated that more than 74,000 people have been killed in Gaza as a result of Israeli attacks since October 2023.
