Croatian Minister of Foreign and European Affairs Gordan Grlić Radman met with his Turkish counterpart Hakan Fidan in the city of Dubrovnik.

“Elchi” reports that this information was shared on Grlić Radman’s “X” social media account.

“I met with my Turkish counterpart within the framework of the Three Seas Initiative Summit,” he stated, adding that the goal is to strengthen transport and energy connectivity between Northern and Southern Europe.

It should be noted that the Three Seas Initiative (covering the Adriatic, Baltic, and Black Seas) summits focus on certain strategic areas. One of these is energy, which aims to increase regional energy independence and transition to renewable energy sources. Furthermore, the development of North-South transport corridors and infrastructure is planned. Strengthening digital infrastructure and cybersecurity is also one of the main goals. Especially against the backdrop of the war in Ukraine, regional security and the strengthening of NATO’s eastern flank are also topics of discussion.
