The Main State Traffic Police Department of the MIA has issued an appeal regarding pedestrian accidents.
According to the information provided by the department, preventive measures and awareness-raising activities are being continued to prevent pedestrian accidents: “The personal sense of responsibility of pedestrians, who are the most vulnerable party among road users, is of vital importance. Especially on multi-lane roads and roads with high-speed limits, crossing the road without following the rules and without using pedestrian crossings creates a serious danger. Severe traffic accidents occurring in such cases are not accidental, but are the result of rule violations.
Dear pedestrians, we appeal to you once again: do not risk your life, cross the road only at designated crossings, and be careful and responsible. Because safety on the road starts with everyone themselves.”
