In the first quarter of the current year, Azerbaijani citizens purchased 174 real estate properties in Turkey. This figure decreased by 17.5% compared to the same period of 2025.
elchi reports, citing the Turkish Statistical Institute (TÜİK), that in March of the current year, Azerbaijanis purchased 60 apartments in the neighboring country. Compared to the same month last year, this represents a 15.5% decrease.
In March, a total of 1,361 houses were sold to foreigners in Turkey. Sales of apartments to foreigners decreased by 19.9% compared to the same period of the previous year.
Last month, the most real estate was sold to citizens of the Russian Federation (229). Iranian citizens ranked second, purchasing 130 houses in Turkey. German citizens ranked third, purchasing 84 apartments last month.
It should be recalled that last year, Azerbaijanis purchased 983 apartments in Turkey. At the same time, in 2025, 3 houses were sold to individuals of Armenian descent in Turkey.
