In the first quarter of this year, trade operations worth 1 billion 103 million 631 thousand US dollars were carried out between Azerbaijan and China.
This was reported to “Elchi” by the State Customs Committee (SCC).
According to the information, this is 7.3% more compared to the same period last year.
During the period, trade turnover with China accounted for 11.73% of the country’s total trade turnover.
In January-March, products worth 29 million 59 thousand US dollars were exported from Azerbaijan to China. This means an annual increase of 25.2%. In the first three months, exports to China accounted for 0.54% of the country’s total exports.
During the reporting period, products worth 1 billion 74 million 571 thousand US dollars were imported from China to Azerbaijan, which is 6.9% more annually. During this period, imports from China amounted to 26.83% of Azerbaijan’s total imports.
It should be noted that China is Azerbaijan’s third-largest trading partner.
