Three children died as a result of a fire in a 21-story building in the center of Astana, Kazakhstan.
According to “Elchi”, the Press Service of the Ministry of Emergency Situations of Kazakhstan reported this.
A woman was rescued from the burning apartment and hospitalized with burn injuries.
Firefighters evacuated 20 people from the building, and about 40 residents left the building on their own.
It is noted that the burning apartment is located on the 15th floor. The fire was extinguished in a short time.
According to the ministry, the Astana mayor’s office will provide assistance to the family of the deceased and the injured woman.
