Employees of the Saray Police Department of Absheron District Police Department conducted an operation against the illegal circulation of narcotic substances.
According to information provided by the Ministry of Internal Affairs to “Elchi”, during the operation, 14 kilograms 641 grams of marijuana, 241 grams of the psychotropic substance methamphetamine, as well as 100 tablets of methadone with strong psychoactive properties were discovered from 38-year-old Farid Iskandarov, who was detained.
It was revealed that F. Iskandarov intended to organize the sale of the narcotic substances by placing them at various addresses in the capital and Absheron district.
A criminal case has been initiated regarding the incident, and by court decision, a pre-trial detention measure has been chosen for the detained person.
