All ambassadors of European Union countries in Tehran have been summoned to the Iranian Ministry of Foreign Affairs.
Elchi.az reports that this was stated by Iranian Foreign Ministry spokesman Ismail Baghaei at a briefing.
He stated that summoning the ambassadors of European countries to the Ministry of Foreign Affairs in response to the European Union countries recognizing the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC) as a terrorist organization is a minimal step, and additional measures will be taken in this direction.
“We are considering many response steps and a number of options have been considered. These options have been proposed to decision-making bodies. We believe that in the coming days, a decision will be made on the response steps to be taken regarding the European Union’s illegal and incorrect decision,” Baghaei said.
It should be noted that the European Union countries officially recognized the IRGC as a terrorist organization a few days ago.
