US President Donald Trump has proposed renaming the Strait of Hormuz to “Trump Strait”.
“Elchi” reports that he wrote about this on “Truth Social”.
“Since it is now under US control, shouldn’t we rename the Strait of Hormuz to Trump Strait???” – Trump stated.
Recall that on September 1, the US Armed Forces carried out an airstrike on Iranian facilities in the Strait of Hormuz. Iran, in turn, launched retaliatory strikes on US bases in the Middle East.
