Russian President’s Press Secretary Dmitry Peskov stated that Russian leader Vladimir Putin does not have a meeting scheduled with his American counterpart Donald Trump.
Elchi.az reports that he noted that such conversations are coordinated quickly.
“There is no such conversation on the schedule at the moment, but they are coordinated very quickly,” Peskov said.
The Russian President’s Press Secretary added that the existing communication channels with the American side allow for immediate coordination of bilateral relations at the highest level.
On December 29, Putin and Trump spoke by telephone. Later, the American President informed the Russian leader in detail about the results of his negotiations with the Ukrainian delegation in Mar-a-Lago.
At the same time, Trump stated that Kyiv’s attempted attack on the Russian President’s residence would affect Washington’s position in the negotiations on the Ukrainian settlement.
