The “112” hotline of the Ministry of Emergency Situations received information about the discovery of ammunition in the territory of Garadagh district, Baku city.
According to the report given to Elchi.az from the Press Service of the Ministry of Emergency Situations, the rapid response team on mine clearance of the Special Risky Rescue Service (XRXX) of the Ministry of Emergency Situations was immediately involved in the scene in connection with the information.
After taking appropriate security measures in the area together with law enforcement officers, it was determined that the ammunition discovered during the inspection of the scene was 1 piece of 122 mm OF-462 type rifled artillery shell.
The ammunition was taken from the area by the specialists of the XRXX rapid response team for neutralization.
No other dangerous or suspicious objects were found during additional searches at the scene and in the vicinity.
