More than 2 million documents related to Epstein are being reviewed

The US Department of Justice has announced that more than 2 million documents related to the investigation of billionaire Jeffrey Epstein, who died in prison for allegedly running a prostitution network targeting underage girls, are still being reviewed.
Elchi.az reports that the US Department of Justice has announced that more than 2 million documents related to the investigation of billionaire Jeffrey Epstein, who died in prison for allegedly running a prostitution network targeting underage girls, are still being reviewed.
The ministry sent a letter signed by Attorney General Pam Bondi, Deputy Attorney General Todd Blanche, and Attorney Jay Clayton to Federal Judge Paul Engelmayer.
The letter stated that approximately 12,285 documents have been disclosed so far under the “Epstein File Transparency Act,” and more than 2 million documents that may be considered responsive to the law are still being reviewed.
The letter stated that more than 400 lawyers, including dozens of prosecutors and Justice Department lawyers, as well as more than 100 specially trained analysts from the Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI), are involved in the investigation.
The letter emphasizes that the ministry is committed to disclosing the documents “as soon as possible,” but that protecting the privacy of victims remains a priority.
