It was stated that the maximum of the meteor shower is expected on November 18 at 03:45 Baku time. At this time, it is predicted that approximately 15 meteors per hour will be observed.
The most favorable period for observing the Leonids in the territory of Azerbaijan is the night from November 17 to 18, from 02:00 until dawn. The moonset around the maximum can create relatively favorable conditions for the visibility of faint meteors.
