Iran’s Navy has reported a fire on a violator tanker that exploded after hitting a naval mine while attempting to pass through the eastern part of the Strait of Hormuz.
elchi reports that according to the statement, the ship was damaged while trying to pass through dangerous zones by turning off its tracking systems. The Iranian side once again reminded that ships must coordinate with the country’s Armed Forces for safe passage through the strait.
