The court process has been held regarding the criminal case of Allahverən Əhmədov, accused of theft and murdering his mother in Absheron.
“Elchi” reports that the sentence was read out at the trial held at the Sumgayit Court of Grave Crimes under the chairmanship of Judge Tariyel Quliyev.
According to the sentence, Allahverən Əhmədov was sentenced to 13 years and 6 months of imprisonment. He will serve his sentence in a strict regime penal institution.
According to the indictment, Allahverən Əhmədov shot and killed his mother, Afət Əhmədova.
He was also accused of theft.
He was charged under Articles 120.1 (intentional homicide), 177.2.3 (theft by unlawful entry into a dwelling, building, warehouse, or other storage facility), 177.2.4 (theft causing significant damage), and 228.1 (unlawful acquisition, possession, carrying, and transport of weapons and ammunition, and other actions) of the Criminal Code.
