The European Union’s new package of sanctions will include restrictions targeting Russia’s military-industrial complex, particularly its missile production.

According to sources, the restrictive measures will be in effect for three years. On October 12, the foreign ministers of EU countries, meeting in Luxembourg, will continue to consider plans to restrict the issuance of visas to Russian tourists and former military personnel, as well as to limit the free movement of Russian diplomats within the union.
The publication notes that the EU leadership plans to include approximately 1600 individuals and legal entities in the new sanctions package.
