Business trip visa to be issued for digital nomads.
elchi reports that this is reflected in the proposed amendment to the Migration Code, discussed at today’s Milli Majlis session.
A digital nomad is a foreigner or stateless person who carries out their activities in the field of digital technologies, artificial intelligence technologies, cybersecurity, and innovation remotely through information and communication technologies, and earns income from foreign sources.
According to the project, the invitation of the inviting party and a document confirming the reason for the invitation will not be required for the business trip visa issued to digital nomads.
If adopted, this Law will enter into force on January 1, 2027.
