The Baku Regional Center of the Ministry of Emergency Situations held civil defense drills.
According to the information provided to elchi by the Ministry of Emergency Situations, an exemplary object civil defense drill on the topic of “Organization of management of civil defense bodies and forces during the elimination of the consequences of emergency situations” was held at the city polyclinic No. 22 in Balakhani settlement, Sabunchu district. A warning and assembly drill on the topic of “Management of commanders, leaders and personnel of un militarized territorial civil defense units during the elimination of the consequences of emergency situations” was conducted with the un militarized territorial civil defense units of Nizami and Surakhani districts. A civil defense drill for management staff on “Organization of management during the elimination of the consequences of emergency situations” was held with the management staff of the Khatai district Water Utility, as well as warning and assembly drills with the territorial civil defense forces of Khazar district.
The purpose of the drills was to check the readiness level of territorial civil defense forces to respond promptly to emergencies and coordinate joint activities in crisis situations, to improve the knowledge and skills of commanders and leaders in management, and to instill practical skills in personnel regarding warning assemblies.
During the drills, the activities of the un militarized territorial civil defense units regarding notification of an emergency, their mobilization by a warning assembly signal, march to the assembly point, and organization of assembly and management were checked. Reports related to functional duties were also heard.
Following the successfully conducted drills, the results obtained were discussed, and relevant instructions were given.
