The Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation of Italy (Antonio Tajani), Edmondo Cirielli, met with the Ambassador of Azerbaijan to this country, Elchin Huseynli, and the parties discussed the peace process in the South Caucasus.
“Elchi” reports that this was shared on the social media account “X” of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation of Italy (Farnesina).
“The main political, economic, and energy issues were at the center of the discussions,” the statement said.
It was noted that on a regional level, Cirielli reaffirmed Italy’s commitment to supporting the peace process with Armenia.
