Slovak Prime Minister Robert Fico will visit Ukraine on September 18.
“Elchi” reports that he announced this on his Facebook account.
“I hope that when I return from Ukraine tomorrow night, I will not be as skeptical as I am now,” Fico noted in his video message.
According to the Slovak Prime Minister, the visit will last several hours, and he will return to his country on the night leading into Saturday.
In September, the Slovak government approved the decision for the country to join the convention on the establishment of an international compensation commission for Ukraine, which was prepared within the framework of the Council of Europe and signed by more than 30 countries.
Earlier, Polish Prime Minister Donald Tusk stated that he would visit Ukraine on September 18, where he would meet with Fico and discuss sanctions against Russia.
Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy announced the “Carpathian Integration Initiative” summit to be held in the Ivano-Frankivsk region on September 18-20. The event will bring together business representatives from various countries in the Carpathian region.
