The Aran Regional Center of the Ministry of Emergency Situations held a seminar in Naftalan city on the topic “Organization of coordination and joint activities in the field of emergency warning, as well as existing problems”.

It was stated that the event was attended by responsible employees of the Ministry’s Aran Regional Center and other agencies operating in the region, as well as heads of the Naftalan City Executive Power, relevant departments, enterprises, organizations, and local self-government bodies.
The purpose of the seminar was to discuss the organization of mutual activities between local executive and self-government bodies and the MES structures operating in the region during the prevention and elimination of the consequences of emergencies, rescue operations, and other urgent measures, as well as to discuss the work done, existing problems, and ways to solve them.
The importance of coordinated activities of relevant agencies regarding the warning and elimination of the consequences of emergencies was discussed at the event, the current state of mutual cooperation between the MES and local executive bodies and the work done were analyzed, and future plans were discussed.
During the seminar, which continued in an interactive format, proposals for further improvement of joint activities were voiced, and questions were answered.
