On September 11, the 5th Azerbaijan-Türkiye Energy Forum will be held in Baku with the participation of Azerbaijan’s Minister of Energy Parviz Shahbazov and Türkiye’s Minister of Energy and Natural Resources Alparslan Bayraktar.
According to the information provided to elchi by the Ministry of Energy, the forum is expected to include discussions on hydrocarbons and petrochemicals, energy efficiency, electricity market, renewable energy, regulation, mining, and other areas, as well as the signing of the Forum’s protocol.
A press briefing is planned at the end of the forum.
It should be noted that the Azerbaijan-Türkiye Energy Forum was established to further strengthen strategic energy cooperation within the framework of the joint Intergovernmental Commission on economic cooperation between the two countries. The first Forum was held in Baku on December 21-22, 2021, the 2nd Forum in Istanbul on October 5-6, 2022, the 3rd Forum in Nakhchivan on September 28-29, 2023, and the 4th Forum in Izmir on September 4, 2025.
