President Ilham Aliyev has sent a congratulatory letter to the President of the Republic of Tajikistan, Emomali Rahmon.

Over the past thirty-five years, thanks to your visionary and resolute leadership, Tajikistan has traversed a great path of development in the areas of state-building, the establishment of internal stability, and socio-economic progress, and has strengthened its prestige and position in the global arena. The history of Tajikistan’s independence and all the achievements made are associated with your name.
It is gratifying that the friendship and brotherhood between Azerbaijan and Tajikistan, which reflect the will of our peoples connected by common religious, cultural, and historical roots, are strengthening and being enriched with new content day by day.
