Houthis strike 4 Saudi Arabian cities: 73 injured

The Saudi Arabian Ministry of Energy reported that energy facilities in the south of Saudi Arabia were targeted by Houthis in Yemen, resulting in fires in certain areas. Seventy-three people were injured in the attacks on civilian and commercial facilities.
“Elchi” reports that the Saudi Ministry of Energy announced that Houthi forces from Yemen targeted energy facilities in the south of the country, causing fires in some locations.
In a written statement from the Ministry, it was stated that the Houthis targeted a number of energy facilities and infrastructure in the southern region.
The statement noted that the attacks caused fires in some areas and led to the temporary suspension of certain operational activities.
It was reported that specialized field teams have begun work to control the fires, secure the areas, and assess the damage; the statement emphasized that the competent authorities are continuing to address the consequences of the attacks.
Civilian and Commercial facilities were targeted
In the statement, it was noted that necessary measures have been taken in accordance with operational plans to ensure the safety of facilities and personnel, as well as the continuity of operations.
The spokesperson for the Saudi-led Arab Coalition, Brigadier General Turki al-Maliki, had previously stated that 73 people were injured as a result of attacks by the Iranian-backed Houthis on civilian and commercial facilities in the Saudi cities of Abha, Khamis Mushait, Jazan, and Najran.
