Today, Deputy Foreign Minister Elnur Mammadov received David Allen, the US Chargé d’Affaires in Armenia, who is on a visit to Azerbaijan.
According to the information provided to elchi by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Amy Carlson, the US Chargé d’Affaires in our country, also participated in the meeting.
During the meeting, the normalization of relations between Azerbaijan and Armenia, the advancement of the peace process, the ensuring of long-term and sustainable peace, as well as the steps taken to strengthen stability and security in the region were discussed.
During the meeting, an exchange of views also took place regarding the results of Elnur Mammadov’s visit to the US on the occasion of the anniversary of the Washington Peace Summit, the signed trilateral statement, the activities carried out towards the implementation of the “Trump Route for International Peace and Prosperity” (TRIPP), as well as the issues of establishing the TRIPP Development Company, which will lead the construction of infrastructure related to the route.
In addition, the Azerbaijan-US bilateral agenda and future cooperation prospects in the directions reflected in the Strategic Partnership Charter were reviewed.
