Case of person who deceived numerous people with promises of work abroad sent to court

The criminal case against Tural Abbasov, who deceived numerous people with promises of work abroad, has been sent to court.

This was reported to elchi by the Press Service of the Prosecutor General’s Office.

According to the information, the preliminary investigation into the illegal activities of Abbasov Tural Bahaddin oglu has been completed at the Main Department for Combating Corruption under the Prosecutor General.

During the preliminary investigation, reasonable suspicions were established that Tural Abbasov, by presenting himself as the director of “Mannhaim Travel” Limited Liability Company, deceived numerous people with false promises of employment in foreign countries and other lies, thereby fraudulently obtaining various sums of money from them and forging official documents for the purpose of using them.

Based on the collected evidence, Tural Abbasov was charged under Articles 178.3.2 (fraud causing damage in a large amount) and 320.1 (forgery, illegal preparation, sale of official documents, state awards, seals, stamps, forms, or use of forged documents) of the Criminal Code of the Republic of Azerbaijan, and a preventive measure of police supervision was chosen against him by the decision of the investigative body.

Partial compensation for the material damage identified in the case has been ensured, and the criminal case has been sent to the Baku Court of Grave Crimes for trial.
