The Ministry of Emergency Situations has issued a repeated appeal to the public regarding the strong winds currently being observed.
According to the information provided to elchi by the MES, the appeal states:
“Currently, strong winds are being observed across the country, including in Baku and the Absheron Peninsula. Failure to follow appropriate safety rules in such weather conditions poses a threat to human life and health.
Taking the above into account, the Ministry of Emergency Situations once again appeals to the public, advising them to stay away from light structures and temporary buildings, billboards and advertising signs, and not to stand under electric poles, wires, or tall trees during strong winds. Furthermore, considering the difficulties caused by strong winds in extinguishing fires, fire safety rules must be strictly observed during windy weather conditions.
Remember, indifference to the rules is a threat to our lives!”
The MES recommends calling 112 in case of danger.
