The Ministry of Emergency Situations (MES) has called on the population to follow safety rules in connection with adverse weather conditions.

It is noted that in order to protect against possible floods and inundations in some rivers due to intensive precipitation, it is necessary to stay away from dangerous areas, immediately climb to nearby high ground if faced with such a danger, and unconditionally follow the calls and recommendations of rescuers.
In addition, during strong winds, it is recommended to stay away from light structures and temporary buildings, buildings and billboards, and not to stand under electric poles and wires or tall trees. Also, small vessel users should take into account that going out to sea in such weather conditions is prohibited.
Furthermore, to protect against lightning-related dangers, it is recommended to disconnect electrical appliances from the network during lightning, not to talk on the phone (fixed network, mobile phone, payphone, etc.), not to approach power lines, lightning rods, gutters, and antennas while outdoors, not to take shelter under tall trees, and if in a car, to stop moving, roll up the windows, and wait for the lightning to end.
