“AzerGold” CJSC announces the next “Scholarship Program” competition for university students studying in the mining sector.

The scholarship, established to ensure the timely provision of necessary personnel for the Joint Stock Company’s strategic projects, will be awarded based on a competition held among students of higher education institutions operating in Azerbaijan.
Students who are citizens of Azerbaijan, studying full-time in their final year of bachelor’s or master’s degree programs in mining engineering, geology, chemical engineering, and metallurgy for the 2026-2027 academic year, are eligible to participate in the competition.
The competition consists of two stages: a test exam and an interview. During the evaluation conducted by the scholarship commission, the 20 candidates who score the highest in the test exam will be invited to the interview.
In the next stage, each candidate’s preparation will be determined according to relevant evaluation criteria. Ultimately, 10 students who successfully pass the competition will be enrolled in the Scholarship program, each receiving a certificate and a monthly scholarship of 200 AZN for the duration of the academic year.
It is intended for students participating in the program to take part in internship programs at the Joint Stock Company and to be employed in relevant positions according to requirements after graduation.

The competition starts from the day the announcement is published. The deadline for applications is September 16, 2026.
