The Ministry of Labor and Social Protection of the Population has announced the total monthly amount of social payments.
This was reported to elchi by the ministry.
It was noted that for persons who adopt a child with a disability deprived of parental care from social service institutions or become a foster family for them, in addition to the monthly social payments for the adoption or placement of the child in a foster family, all monthly payments assigned for the child’s disability and care are also provided.
The total monthly amount of these social payments is:
for a child with a disability determined due to 81-100 percent impairment of body functions:
when adopted, 1270 AZN (1370 AZN if the child is visually impaired);
when placed in a foster family, 1170 AZN for a child aged 0-6, 1270 AZN for a child aged 7-13, and 1320 AZN for a child aged 14-18 (1270 AZN, 1370 AZN, and 1420 AZN respectively if the child is visually impaired);
for a child with a disability determined due to 61-80 percent impairment of body functions:
when adopted, 970 AZN;
when placed in a foster family, 870 AZN, 970 AZN, and 1020 AZN respectively according to the age categories;
for a child with a disability determined due to 31-60 percent impairment of body functions:
when adopted, 900 AZN;
when placed in a foster family, 800 AZN, 900 AZN, and 950 AZN respectively according to the age categories.
Families who have taken in children are also provided with a one-time allowance of 200 AZN once every quarter for the purchase of seasonal clothing for the children.
