Appropriate measures have been taken by police officers to determine the causes of the fires that have occurred in the territory of Aghdam district in recent days.

Within the framework of the investigation, footage from unmanned aerial vehicles (UAVs) and video surveillance cameras deployed in the area was analyzed. Based on the collected materials, the fact of intentional burning of agricultural fields located at the intersection of Aghdam-Aghjabadi administrative territories was established.
During the initial investigation, 29-year-old Sabuhi Huseynli, who was driving a “Niva” brand car with state registration plate 77-PT-225, was detained due to reasonable suspicions that he committed the act.
A criminal case has been initiated regarding the incident. Currently, necessary procedural measures are being continued to involve S. Huseynli in the investigation as a suspect, to fully and comprehensively investigate all circumstances of the incident, as well as to provide a legal assessment of the act.
