The test examination stage of the recruitment competition for teachers in state general education institutions was held from July 14 to 18. More than 33,000 candidates participated in the exams held at 35 examination centers, with an attendance rate of 96 percent.
According to the information provided to elchi by the Institute of Education of the Republic of Azerbaijan (ARTİ), all inquiries received regarding the content of the questions after the exams concluded were reviewed by relevant experts, and errors were noted in some questions.
“Inconsistencies affecting the assessment were identified in 1 test item for Biology, 1 for Geography, 1 for Russian Language and Literature, 1 for Chemistry in the Azerbaijani section, 3 in the Russian section, and 1 for Music in the Russian section. After taking these errors into account, score adjustments for those test items were calculated in favor of the candidates for the respective subjects.
The updated results have already been sent to the candidates’ personal accounts. Candidates can log in to their personal accounts on the miq.edu.az website to view the updated results,” the statement noted.
