The third day of the XV Gabala International Music Festival, held with the initiative and organization of the Heydar Aliyev Foundation and the support of the Ministry of Culture, the Baku Music Academy named after Uzeyir Hajibeyli, and “Gilan”, was marked by a rich concert program.

APA’s Shirvan bureau reports that the concert held on July 31 at the Heydar Aliyev Congress Center was presented by the Chamber Orchestra of the DOST Inclusive Development and Creativity Center.

The artistic director of the concert is Honored Artist Emil Afrasiyab, and the conductor is Mustafa Mehmandarov.

People’s Artist Teyyub Aslanov (khananda), Dayanat Mammadov (tenor), Farid Abdullayev (tar), Gulnaz Talibova (soprano), Khatira Hajiyeva (soprano), Muslim Muslimzade (khananda), Ravana Aghamirova (soprano), Samid Khudarly (tenor), Sara Huseynova (soprano), Sabina Asgarova (soprano), and Samad Novruzov (tenor) performed at the concert, presenting famous works by Azerbaijani and world composers.

The program included works such as the Prelude from Edvard Grieg’s “Holberg Suite”, Lensky’s aria from Pyotr Tchaikovsky’s opera “Eugene Onegin”, Yevgeny Doga’s “My Sweet and Tender Beast”, Azerbaijani folk songs “Gozalim sansan” and “Bari bakh”, Barat Abdullayev’s “Har an qalbimdasan”, Fikret Amirov’s “Aslan’s song”, Emin Sabitoglu’s “Agh chichayim”, and Jahangir Jahangirov’s “Teymur’s song”.

The concert program of the third day of the festival was met with great interest by the audience. Music lovers who came to Gabala from various regions of the republic and foreign countries greeted the concert with applause.

The XV Gabala International Music Festival continues, and in the evening, there will be the “Mugham Evening” concert, one of the most favorite nights of the Gabala Music Festival.
