Prime Minister Ali Asadov has signed a new decree to ensure the implementation of tasks arising from the head of state’s decree regarding the reorganization of the public legal entities “Media Development Agency of the Republic of Azerbaijan” and “Center of Analysis of International Relations”.
elchi reports that, according to the decree, the Ministry of Justice, in coordination with the Media Development Agency and the Center of Analysis of International Relations and Multiculturalism, must submit proposals to the Cabinet of Ministers within 5 months to align the normative legal acts of the Cabinet of Ministers with the President’s Decree No. 730.
“Central executive authorities, no later than four months, shall take measures arising from their rule-making duties within their powers to ensure the implementation of the Decree, and submit their normative legal acts or information about the absence of proposals to the Ministry of Justice of the Republic of Azerbaijan, and report to the Cabinet of Ministers of the Republic of Azerbaijan when the implementation status requires it.
The Ministry of Justice of the Republic of Azerbaijan shall ensure the alignment of normative legal acts and acts of a normative nature of central executive authorities with the Decree and report to the Cabinet of Ministers of the Republic of Azerbaijan on this within six months,” the decree states.
