A road traffic accident resulting in the death of a pedestrian has occurred in Shaki.
According to “Elchi”, the incident took place on July 25 at around 22:00 in the territory of Bash Goynuk village of the district.
Thus, while Farhad Gurbetli was driving a “Mercedes” brand car, he hit pedestrians – Mahir Teyibov, born in 2002, and Shahin Tahirov, born in 1998. As a result, M. Teyibov died at the scene from his injuries, and the other pedestrian was hospitalized.
A criminal case has been initiated regarding the fact, and an investigation is underway.
