Within the next two years, Ukraine plans to increase the flight range of its unmanned aerial vehicles (UAVs) to 10,000 kilometers.
“Elchi” reports, citing “RBC-Ukraine”, that Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky stated this in an interview with American blogger Laura Loomer.
According to V. Zelensky, Ukraine’s long-range UAV program is entering a new stage of development:
“We currently have drones with a flight range of over 3,000 kilometers. This year we will have UAVs with a range of up to 4,000 kilometers, and next year we will have ones with a range of 5,000 to 10,000 kilometers.”
V. Zelensky emphasized that the future development of unmanned technologies remains one of the key directions for strengthening the country’s defense potential.
