Volodymyr Zelensky announced that he will visit the US, where a meeting with the US leader’s special envoy Steven Witkoff and businessman Jared Kushner is possible within a week.
elchi reports that the “TSN” TV channel presented a video of him answering journalists’ questions.
“We will have a meeting. It is very likely that our meeting could take place in the US. We have been invited, and I think the meeting will happen in the coming days, within a week,” he said.
Zelensky added that during a phone conversation with Witkoff and Kushner on Wednesday, representatives of Ukraine and the United States “discussed various US proposals regarding the end of the Ukrainian conflict.”
Zelensky also announced that he plans to meet with representatives of the “Lockheed Martin” company, which produces missiles for “Patriot” air defense systems, during his visit.
