President Ilham Aliyev has sent a congratulatory letter to President of the Arab Republic of Egypt Abdel Fattah el-Sisi.
“Elchi” reports that the letter reads:
“Dear Mr. President,
On the occasion of the 23 July – Revolution Day, I extend my heartfelt congratulations and best wishes to You and, through You, to the entire people of Egypt on my own behalf and on behalf of the people of Azerbaijan.
The current level of interstate relations between Azerbaijan and Egypt, which are developing in a spirit of friendship and mutual respect, is gratifying.
I am confident that, in accordance with the will of our peoples, our friendly relations, as well as our bilateral and multilateral cooperation, will continue to develop and expand on an upward trajectory through our joint efforts.
On this festive day, I wish you good health, happiness, and success in your activities, and the friendly people of Egypt lasting peace and prosperity.”
