Araz Agalarov sues state company

The “Crocus Group” company, owned by Azerbaijani businessman Araz Agalarov, has filed a lawsuit in the Moscow Arbitration Court against “Ingosstrakh” (Foreign State Insurance) for 1.68 billion rubles (approximately 36 million manats) to cover the damages caused to the “Crocus City Hall” concert venue, which burned down in 2024.

“Elchi” reports that Russian media has provided information regarding this matter.

According to the information, the lawsuit was filed by the group’s parent company, “Crocus International,” and was accepted for proceedings on July 10.

The preliminary court hearing is scheduled for August 19.
