The personal cooling booth, called “Do Hiemon,” is designed to rapidly lower the body temperature of people exposed to extreme heat.
The internal temperature of the booth is lowered to 15 degrees Celsius, while 5-degree Celsius cold air is blown onto the user’s head, neck, shoulders, and back.
Manufacturers state that this method relieves symptoms of heatstroke and heat-induced fatigue faster than standard air conditioning or fans.
