US President Donald Trump shared information that 18 US soldiers were killed in the US-Israel-Iran war.
“Elchi” reports that in a statement on his social media account, Trump shared information about the wars in which the US is involved.
Comparing the death tolls in the Afghanistan, Iraq, Vietnam, Korea, and Iran wars, Trump said, “Iran Military Conflict: 4 months, 18 dead.”
The number of dead US soldiers reached 17.
The US Central Command (CENTCOM) announced on July 17 that 2 soldiers were killed and 1 soldier was missing in an attack on a US base in Jordan.
The Pentagon stated that the identities of the 2 soldiers have been determined and the investigation into the incident is ongoing.
CENTCOM also announced on July 18 that 1 soldier was killed during the controlled destruction of unexploded ordnance belonging to an Iranian drone in Iraq.
Together with the incident in Iraq, the number of US soldiers killed in the war, which began with US and Israeli attacks on Iran in February, has reached 17.
