Amendments have been made to the “Instruction on the rules for conducting observations, preparing and using data belonging to the category of limited and open information on hydrometeorology and monitoring of the natural environment”.
“Elchi” reports that Prime Minister Ali Asadov has signed a decree in this regard.
According to the decree, additional powers have been granted to the State Water Resources Agency of Azerbaijan.
Also, the following sentence has been added to the 3rd part of the “Regulation on the rules for conducting state monitoring of the environment and natural resources”: “State monitoring of water bodies is carried out by the State Water Resources Agency of Azerbaijan, and monitoring of fishery water bodies for fishery purposes is carried out by the Ministry of Agriculture together with the relevant state bodies (institutions).”
