Inspectors from the State Agency for Safe Working in Industry and Mining Control of the Ministry of Emergency Situations (MES) have conducted a planned inspection of 6 elevators in a residential building owned by “Qayğı” MTK, located on Jeyhun Hasanov Street, Khatai district, Baku.
“Elchi” reports that this was stated by the Press Service of the MES.
During the inspection, it was determined that the elevators were being operated without complying with relevant safety requirements and posed a threat to human life and health.
Taking the aforementioned into account, the operation of the elevators has been suspended, and the issue has been raised before “Qayğı” MTK to eliminate the identified violations related to technical safety. Furthermore, a relevant act was drawn up, and it was explained to the representative of the enterprise that the operation of the elevators would only be possible once the rule violations are addressed, and that the MTK bears legal responsibility for any accidents or incidents that may occur during the operation of the said equipment without compliance with relevant standards.
