A delegation from the Military Police Department of the Ministry of Defense of the Republic of Azerbaijan has visited Ankara, the Republic of Turkey.
According to the information provided to elchi by the Ministry of Defense, within the framework of the visit, Major General Elgun Aliyev, Deputy Chief of the Main Department of Internal Security and Investigation of the Ministry – Chief of the Military Police Department, met with the Minister of National Defense of Turkey, Yasar Guler. During the meeting, the parties emphasized that the friendly and brotherly relations between our countries are also successfully developing in the military police system.
In accordance with the program, the delegation met with the Commander of the Turkish Special Forces and the Head of the Special Forces School. During the meetings, Major General E. Aliyev expressed his gratitude for the support provided in the development of the military police system.
Then, the delegation became acquainted with the training process of the “Close Protection” course organized for the “Close Protection” unit of the Azerbaijani Military Police under the Special Forces of the Turkish Armed Forces.
Later, the guests visited the Ankara Central Command, where they were given a briefing on the daily activities of the central command and the management systems applied.
At the end of the visit, the Azerbaijani delegation participated in the solemn closing ceremony of the “Close Protection” course. At the ceremony, the military personnel demonstrated the theoretical and practical skills they acquired during the course.
Finally, certificates were awarded and gifts were presented to the military police representatives who successfully completed the course.
