The results of the entrance exam held on July 5, 2026, for the II and III specialty groups have been announced.

Familiarization with exam results
It is stated that applicants who participated in the exam can familiarize themselves with their results, the graphic images of their answer cards and answer sheets, as well as the evaluation criteria for each open-ended task (the expected correct answers, solutions, and evaluation scale for the task) here.
Applicants can also learn about their exam results by sending the code provided on their exam admission ticket to the number 7727 via mobile operators (Azercell, Bakcell, Nar).
Statistical indicators of the exam
Out of 41,623 applicants who confirmed their application to participate in the exam (18,908 for the II group, 22,715 for the III group), 1,182 (649 for the II group, 533 for the III group) did not participate. 16 applicants who participated in the exam were excluded due to violation of rules, and their results were cancelled.
Highest results for the II specialty group
In this exam, the highest result for the II specialty group was achieved by Isbandiyarli Pasha Araz oglu, a graduate of the Oguz full secondary school in Lachin district, who scored 400 points. He scored 277.3 points in the first stage of the exam. The applicant who achieved the highest result for the II specialty group based on the sum of both stages is Karimov Zamin Ramin oglu, a graduate of secondary school No. 35 in Sumgait city, with a total of 690 points. He scored 297.5 points in the first stage and 392.5 points in the second stage.
Highest results for the III specialty group
In this exam, the highest result for the III specialty group was achieved by 3 people who scored 400 points – Mammadzada Ali Musa oglu, a graduate of the Gymnasium with a focus on Natural Sciences in Sumgait city; Mammadova Aydan Ikhtiyar gizi, a graduate of the Kur settlement secondary school in Shamkir district; and Mansimli Orkhan Zaur oglu, a graduate of secondary school No. 1 in Saray settlement, Absheron district. Mammadova Aydan Ikhtiyar gizi scored 279.6 points in the first stage, and Mansimli Orkhan Zaur oglu scored 276.1 points. Mammadzada Ali Musa oglu is the applicant who achieved the highest result for the III specialty group based on the sum of both stages with 689.6 points. He scored 289.6 points in the first stage of the exam.
Competition procedure
We remind you that it is possible to score a maximum of 300 points in the first stage and 400 points in the second stage of the exam. The competition is conducted based on the sum of points collected in both stages.
Procedure for applying to the Appeals Commission
An Appeals Commission will operate at the SEC to review appeals regarding exam results. Those who wish to apply to the Appeals Commission can register by filling out the electronic application that will be posted on the SEC website from 10:00 on July 20 to 17:00 on July 22. Those who do not register within the specified period will not be able to apply to the Appeals Commission later. The number of the task being appealed must be selected in the electronic application, the content of the appeal regarding it must be written, and which point of the criteria it is considered to correspond to must be indicated. If the content of the appeal is not noted in the electronic application, the application is not accepted and the appeal is not investigated.
Stages of the appeal process
The appeal process is carried out in the following order:
All cases appealed are investigated by the Appeals Commission;
Expert opinions (in written form) on the tasks appealed by the applicants are added to the appeal applications;
An “SMS” regarding the completion of the appeal process is sent to the phone number indicated by the applicants in their appeal applications.
After this, applicants can log into their applications on the apelyasiya.dim.gov.az website to familiarize themselves with the result of the appeal and print the expert opinion from there.
Which appeals are not reviewed?
Appeals regarding answers marked on the answer sheet in a form inconsistent with the instructions, including corrections that result in the answer being considered incorrect by the optical device (e.g., shading two circles in a closed-ended question, etc.), will not be reviewed.
Recommendation to applicants
Before applying to the Appeals Commission, applicants can familiarize themselves with their results, the graphic image of their answer sheet, and the evaluation criteria for each open-ended task on the SEC website, on the page related to exam results. The experience of previous exams shows that approximately 15% of those who write an application for an appeal did not answer the task at all or applied to the commission without comparing their own answer with the possible correct answers and the evaluation scale. We bring to the attention of applicants that such appeals will not be reviewed.
