In the first half of this year, gas exports from Azerbaijan abroad amounted to 12.7 billion cubic meters.
This was reported by “Elchi” citing the Ministry of Energy.
According to the information, 5.9 billion cubic meters of the exported gas went to Europe, 4.9 billion cubic meters to Turkey (including 3 billion cubic meters via TANAP), 1.2 billion cubic meters to Georgia, and 0.7 billion cubic meters to Syria.
According to the data, 25.4 billion cubic meters of natural gas were produced in the country in January-June 2026.
“Of the produced gas, 7.3 billion cubic meters fell to the share of Azeri-Chirag-Gunashli, 13.7 billion cubic meters to Shah Deniz, 0.8 billion cubic meters to the Absheron field, and 3.6 billion cubic meters to SOCAR,” the report states.
