An “open door day” event was held at the Surakhani District State Fire Protection Unit, organized by the State Fire Protection Service of the Ministry of Emergency Situations.
According to the information provided to “Elchi” by the Ministry of Emergency Situations, children and teachers from the “ABC KIDS” kindergarten participated in the “open door day”.
The purpose of the event was to contribute to the comprehensive development of children, their physical and mental well-being, the formation of a culture of safe living, as well as basic fire safety knowledge, and to increase their awareness of the professional activities of firefighters.
During the “open door day” event, participants were given detailed information about the daily routine of firefighters and the activities of the units. They were shown methods of using primary fire extinguishing equipment and a part of the staff’s daily drills.
Also, the children became closely acquainted with the necessary fire extinguishing and other emergency rescue equipment used during emergencies and were informed about safe behavior rules during emergency situations.
During the interesting event, the children’s questions were answered.
