A series of attacks against security forces has taken place in Pakistan’s Khyber Pakhtunkhwa province. As a result of the attacks, two police officers were killed and more than 20 people were injured.

In another incident in Lower Dir district, two police officers were killed and 16 others were injured. The “Ittihad-ul-Mujahideen Pakistan” group, affiliated with “Tehreek-e-Taliban Pakistan” (TTP), has claimed responsibility for the attack in Bannu.
