In January-June 2026, nearly 484 thousand tons of sulfur and related goods were transported by Azerbaijan Railways CJSC (ADY).
According to the information provided to elchi by ADY, this is more than 31% higher compared to the same period last year.
The volume of sulfur cargo transported in transit mode increased by more than 30%, rising from 369 thousand tons to 483 thousand tons. The majority of this figure consists of alkali metals and metalloids, while approximately 8,300 tons consist of newly activated raw sulfur.
